Welcome
to the 2007 Subareck Walky Wandering Wombat Rally. This year's event
includes a round of the South Australian Clubman Championship as
well as the Hyundai Series. Cars get underway from Walky Park at
2pm on Saturday the 22nd of September. Clubman crews compete over
80kms of competitive stages while the Intro crews have a competitive
distance of 60kms.
Spectator
guides will be available shortly with route instructions to one
of the best rally viewing spots yet seen.
Entries
close on Saturday 15th of September so get your entries in quickly
to get your place in what should be a bumper field of both novice
competitors and also more experienced crews going all out to win
the Clubman Championship. The roads are in great shape and we look
forward to seeing you there.
The
Subareck Walky Wandering Wombat Rally has been run and won for 2007
by Paul Kinnear in his Subaru Legacy RSR by 1 second to Leigh Stokes.
A big thank you to Belinda and Dene for organising such a fun event.
Also to all the Officials, Stewards, helpers and fellow competitors
for making this event so enjoyable. See you early in 2008 for next
years race.
